Community Resource – Education

Area of Focus: Education

The Education Committee is dedicated to the quality, equity, and availability of education in schools across Middle Tennessee. The Education Committee serves as a watchful “eye” on the politics of education and how it may/may not benefit children. The Committee focuses on issues of State and Local legislation that involves and affects the learning processes and well-being of children throughout the district. The Education Committee also has the important focus of making strides with the local school board director and its members in an effort to develop open dialog.
