LWVN works closely with the League of Women Voters of Tennessee (LWVTN) to advocate for policy change at the state level. Our members regularly engage with the Davidson County legislative delegation and respond to weekly action alerts during the legislative session. We advocate on a number of issues including: 

• Expanding voting access, sites, and dates
• Government transparency and open records laws that protect the public’s right to know
• Permanent and portable statewide voter registration
• Permission for college/ university students to use college ID for voting identification
