Event Details

The YWCA Nashville & Middle Tennessee is hosting its first ever 21 Day Racial Equity and Social Justice Challenge. The Challenge is designed to create dedicated time and space to build more effective social justice habits, particularly those dealing with issues of race, power, privilege, and leadership. Our 21 Day Challenge begins on July 6. In order to participate, you must sign up HERE before July 6.

You will be presented with challenges such as reading an article, listening to a podcast, reflecting on personal experience and more. The goals of participation in an activity like this are to help us learn how racial injustice impacts ourselves and our community, connect with one another, and identify ways to dismantle racism and other forms of discrimination.

We hope you will join us on this journey beginning July 6. You will receive a daily email and can view the challenges on our website and social media. You can also form discussion groups and/or keep a personal reflection log (see materials and tools attached).

We encourage you to share this 21 Day Challenge in spaces and communities where folks are seeking to develop a greater consciousness of race/racism and social justice habits.
