Nashville Moms Demand Action Monthly Meeting- Domestic Violence Awareness Month

October is Domestic Violence Awareness month all over America. In the US, domestic violence is closely linked to the widespread and growing use of guns by abusers. Sadly, over half of women killed by an intimate partner are killed with a gun.

The speaker this month will be Damien Talley from the YWCA’s Domestic Violence program. The YWCA of Nashville & Middle Tennessee is the primary provider of domestic violence services in our region. Click here to learn more about their work.
